A message in a bottle, a mini lighthouse, and Lumi.

http://projectbala.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 27, 2013. This week I'm going to talk a little bit about our goals for this project. It perhaps goes without saying that at the very least, the game will be playable (and it already is! In addition, most of the core features will be in place to expand upon in the second quarter. This includes the player's resources, children, and enemies. 1) Ponds: with Water ...

The monster and props here are designed by fellow concept artist Brice. (Except the memory shard, which I am still working on.) My goal for this painting is to figure out color scheme. This week has been a lot of tweaking colors to get the colors to work harmoniously. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Strang and the Video Game Projects. Sunday, October 27, 2013. Above: Colored character designs on a height chart. This week I worked on revising the monsters to fit our style better. Colors are chosen based on a mostly purple background. Next I will also try green and brown, based on Tian C.'s concept art, to make sure the green monsters stand out from the foliage. To keep him from standing out too. Much in a background that's void of pastel colors. Monday, October 21, 2013. Above: Monster Design Ideas.

http://strang-projects.blogspot.com/2014/04/update.html
Strang and the Video Game Projects. Sunday, April 6, 2014. Hello, everybody, I have a quick Dissonance update! It feels like we're really close to achieving exactly the type of game we've been imagining in our heads! Thanks to our programmers, we're able to add a lot of gameplay elements we dropped previously because of limitations. Now we are ironing out bugs, working on music, starting the marketing research. Everyone's working hard and doing great! More story updates to come! View my complete profile.
