Thursday, June 28, 2012. Everything in this outfit is super soft and it leads me to believe that every single thing I put on my body should feel so good. I've been on the lookout for a few good summer scarves. I tend to get cold easily and so they're nice to have on hand . er, neck . for places like grocery stores and movie theaters that keep the temperatures subzero. This one is so soft and gauzy that, when it is wrapped loosely like this, it is perfect for warmer days. Dress: Boston Proper, thrifted.

Tuesday, June 12, 2012. GOOD AFTERNOON, TUESDAY. I know it isn't quite summer yet. I also know that we've had a few warm weekends. But, this past weekend it felt like summer for the first time this year. I spent it doing a whole lotta nothing, which is pretty much how I like my summer weekends. Other than it was insanely hot and little girl and I sat in my bedroom (the only room with a window a/c unit) all day and watched movies. She was pretty pumped about that part. I was going a little cray cray after 20 episodes of Strawberry Shortcake. So cray cray that I, in fact, used the phrase " cray cray. Three separate times in this post. Saturday, February 26, 2011. Last Saturday was the lovely Kitty Kat's hens weekend. It meant a full day of girlyness, then some night time fun up the coast at Mooloolaba (one of my very favourite places! Piper dress, Myer. On Saturday, I had the distinct pleasure of car pooling with the hen herself, and being summer in Queensland, it was blue skies as far as the eye can see, and insanely hot and humid.
