I got some Shrub Roses today and a Lily of the Valley and plan to plant them soon in a plant box on my deck that is around 4 by 2 feet and about 3 feet deep. I read that Shrub Roses make good plant neighbors, but that Lily of the Valley are really aggressive in growing.
