Thursday, November 24, 2011. Thanskgiving in Oklahoma for 2011! Morgan and Chase have not been to Tiff and Rob's place, so Kevin decided since they had time off from school and Kevin had a few days off, we were driving to Oklahoma for turkey. Yum, Yum. On the way, we think we got some bad gas in Wyoming. Our truck would be moving along at 75-80 and than we would lose power and couldn't go faster than 60. With a little help of gas cleaner additive and patience, we made it to Tiff and Rob's. I go fast, Mom!

Saturday, March 17, 2012. Top o' the morning to you! I spent St Patricks day morning with a bunch of green running peeps. Lady of the Lourdes Catholic church holds a 5k, 10k benefit run that Jodee has participated in and invited me along for the fun this year. The weather was warm, the company delightful, power walking 3.5 miles in Memory Grove - a workout, breakfast at Denny's after-Yummy. Some Antique shopping, then home for yard work and some cornbeef and cabbage. Great St Patricks Day!

Wednesday, September 28, 2011. Grandpa Ray Leake turned 75! And we had a birthday party! We always have very yummy food at your family get togethers! And this time we had a pinata for the kids! Tuesday, June 28, 2011. My uncle Wayne went to Finland a few years ago to see relatives. While there, a family that was a friend of our relatives, offered his cabin for Wayne and Deb to stay at. Now they are in the United States and coming to dinner at my house. I was so excited to meet a family from Finland. They were lovely. So gracious and full of stories. I loved the evening. Tuesday, March 6, 2012. The last night of our archery league we had some fun shoots. Balloons were set up on the wall with prizes under the balloons. If you shot the balloon you won a prize. Saturday, January 28, 2012. The Hills are alive with avalanches! So today, Jamie, Morgan, Don Trop and I decided to go snowshoeing at Tibble Fork. We knew we could find some safe hills to adventure into. We were not disappointed! The snow is not very deep this year, creating some interesting subjects for pictures! Go ahead Morgan, Shake that limb! But we took care to stay in the trees, at lower elevations, with minimal exposed open areas and we had a great, safe day! Walking through a winter wonderland!
