For the Master: Atheism's Heart Attack
http://bobforthemaster.blogspot.com/2007/04/atheisms-heart-attack.html
Tuesday, April 10, 2007. Many skeptics of the Bible claim that there is a discrepancy between the Bible and Evolution, and this proves the Bible’s wrong because Evolution “is proven fact.” It’s not. It’s the foundation for atheism and atheism is the foundation of Evolution. Therefore, it’s circular reasoning. Another blow is the Second Law of Thermodynamics. This law says everything tends toward disorder when LEFT TO IT’S OWN DEVICES! Atheist is left with only one alternative: The Big Bang. The First...

Just for Advent 2008: An Instrument of Peace
http://justforadvent2008.blogspot.com/2008/12/instrument-of-peace.html
Just for Advent 2008. Tuesday, December 23, 2008. An Instrument of Peace. Luke 2: 14 ". Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests. I am struck today by the difference between the King James version (KJV) of this verse, ". Peace on earth, goodwill towards men. And the New International Version (NIV) seen above. The New American Standard Version says ". Peace among men with whom He is pleased. So what might this verse mean regarding peace? Where there is injury, pardon;.

Just for Advent 2008: 11/30/08 - 12/7/08

Just for Advent 2008. Saturday, December 6, 2008. While we wait for the blessed HOPE. 8212;the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ. While the saints of the Old Testament looked forward to the Messiah, we have the blessed hope of waiting for the second coming of our Messiah, Jesus Christ. We look with anticipating to the sky, saying come, Lord Jesus! We long for the day when we will be at your side. I believe the best song for the season of Advent is: O come o come Immanuel. God's...

Just for Advent 2008: Peace on Earth
http://justforadvent2008.blogspot.com/2008/12/peace-on-earth.html
Just for Advent 2008. Wednesday, December 24, 2008. Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace. Good will toward men. I worked as a missionary nurse for 10 years in Guinea, West Africa. This morning I awoke to the news that the president of that country who has been in power since my time there has died. It has left a void of power, as is often the case in many African nations. It has thrown the country into a sense of chaos with others grabbing for power. Worship Christ the King. Just for Lent 2007.

We had never been to Zell before. well known for wonderful wines with a black cat label. What a quaint town. I enjoyed onion cake and fresh grape juice, a favorite Fall treat in this region that I have become addicted to. Wednesday, October 22, 2008. Briedel grapes on the Mosel River. There were a few grapes left. We took a ferry across the river. Some grapes are grown in slate.

Wido Wanderings: June 2008

Friday, June 13, 2008. Sweden: Stockholm Gamla Stan. Stockholm, Sweden, we discovered, is a city of many islands. The oldest part is Gamla Stan where the residence for Swedish royalty remains today. This is the historic harbor. Above is the plaza outside the Nobel Peace Prize museum. We stopped for a moment to check out the amazing book store. The narrow cobblestone streets in this part of town are peaceful and picturesque. This historic Lutheran Church is beautiful inside and out. Well, apparently not.

Wido Wanderings: Rhodes, Greece: The Apostle Paul stopped here
http://thewidos.blogspot.com/2008/11/rhodes-greece-apostle-paul-stopped-here.html
Friday, November 14, 2008. Rhodes, Greece: The Apostle Paul stopped here. From ancient days, Rhodes has been an important island in the Medeteranean. One of the ancient wonders of the world was at this port. The Apostle Paul stopped here during his journeys. I felt like I was walking in the footsteps of history as I wandered over worn cobblestone. We saw a couple of churches with beautiful icons. One was an early church dating back to about 300 AD. View my complete profile. Cats of the Mediterranean.

Just for Advent 2008: Fourth Sunday : Angel Candle
http://justforadvent2008.blogspot.com/2008/12/fourth-sunday-angel-candle.html
Just for Advent 2008. Sunday, December 21, 2008. Fourth Sunday : Angel Candle. The angel answered, "I am Gabriel. I stand in the presence of God, and I have been sent to speak to you and to tell you this good news.". In all of these cases, the angel speaks for God. I like what Gabriel explains to Zachariah in the verse for today. He explains that he comes from God's presence. He is a sent one. And he comes bearing Good News. Just get into the Word! Worship Christ the King. An Instrument of Peace.

For the Master: March 2007
http://bobforthemaster.blogspot.com/2007_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 29, 2007. Non-Biblical evidence for Jesus' Diety. Many atheists claim that Jesus never lived. Muslims and Jews, as well as some Buddhists and even some atheists, say He lived, but He was just a good, moral teacher. However, Christians claim He was God incarnate (in the flesh). Who’s right? Let’s make some predictions based on the models of each possibility and see which model best describes Jesus. However, He would make claims of divinity. However, He would not back it up. However, if His...
