I made both a circular and rectangular headdress and adorned them with gold details as with the garments from the collection. Part 4: What's Next for Dixmacabre? I'm working hard again to keep this blog up to date. As the years went on, and as my life was often busy due to schoolwork, my online presence as a lolita, and a lolita seamstress has sort of dwindled away. I hope I haven't been forgotten about! Since I've graduated I've been working in the industry, interning at a Girls fashion company called Kahn Lucas and Lancaster under the brand Dollie and Me. And with that I bring amazing news. Lilith et Adalia is a brand me and ...

Many of you remember the first Virgin JSK I made way back in 2011. 160;Towards the end I make small mention of my idea of making versions in this colorway too. Well, after about four years, I finally did it! Its the nature of the stuff sometimes you know? I can fix it a bit if not for them, at no charge of course! El vestido de leopardo.

http://dixmacabre.blogspot.com/2011/08/virgin-mary-jumperskirt-completed.html
Virgin Mary Jumperskirt Completed! I've finally completed my Virgin Mary JSK! I was very excited about it for a long time, but because of school initially earlier in the year, and the commission I needed to complete (my last post), I had to put it on hold for months. I had the fabric all cut out and all the materials for it since about February! This is the only thing I'd been able to complete for myself this summer, to my great disappointment. Well my rendition, not an exact cosplay). It's widely availa...

Completion: Classical Floral Dress in Bordeaux FINALLY UPDATES - New Blog! So I finally finished this dress. I started it before I left for Japan this past August (yes I was in Japan for about 2 weeks! More on that later.) I had planned on bringing this dress with me on my trip, but I didn't finish it, and in fact, did not wear lolita once while on my first trip to Japan. Anyway, this is a sewing blog right? So lets talk about that instead shall we? As an aside, I started a new blog! This dress is done!

Brand New Updated Blog Layout! Jut a quick post to say I updated my blog layout to a more lighter classical look. I was getting tired of how dark it was. I was in the mood for a change. How do you all like it? It's foreshadowing for the influx of Classic Lolita garments on their way! Art credit goes to artist Kira Imai. Many of you probably recognize her work, she's one of my favorite artists). However, I did work on a design for a new dress! Here it is. (capped from my Instagram. And that's it for now!
