Sunday, April 29, 2012. Anyone who knows me knows I don't like to run. In fact, the term "don't like" is an extraordinary understatement. Words like loathe, hate, despise, torturous would be much more fitting. So, the fact that I did a 5K could be considered a miracle seeing as I haven't even exercised in like three years. Here are the prelim photos. I snapped this one mid-race. Dan had a hard, full-time job helping both the bike riders. These are our friends that went too: the Kings and the Slivkas.

Tuesday, August 30, 2011. Admittedly, I tend to feel that the way my kids look is somehow a reflection of whether or not I'm a good mother. After all, who else's responsibility is it to make sure children don't look like orphans but a mother's? To illustrate, just after the baby was born, we weren't able to get to Emily's hair before we needed to get to the bus. I had to let her go to school without even running a brush through it. Monday, January 30, 2012. I very thoroughly enjoyed watching my kids discover the thrill of finding ladybugs. Thursday, January 26, 2012. On Sunday Dan was sustained and set apart in his new calling: 1st counselor in our ward's bishopric! Since he needed to be advanced in the priesthood to the office of a high priest, his parents made a very quick trip from Denver so his dad could ordain him. We felt so blessed and grateful they were willing to come on such short notice and pay the expense of flying.

Sunday, November 27, 2011. We went to Mesa for Thanksgiving. Here are the hightlights. Helping Grandma make her famous rolls. Thanksgiving dinner was, as to be expected, DELICIOUS and plentiful.
