A Little About Me. Thursday, January 17, 2013. When we were looking to move our toddler out of the high chair, my hubby let me know he wasn't thrilled with the idea of booster seats. He feels that they aren't that secure and safe. His solution? A bar stool with the legs cut down a little. I was fine with the idea until I started pricing stools, particularly ones with backs. Yikes! They get pricy really quick! Luckily I stumbled on a floor model that was on clearance and snatched it up. Links to this post.

Wednesday, June 6, 2012. Since relocating our family to the coast my daughter has deepened her love for the ocean. To commemorate I thought a fun quilt was in order. I found some beautiful fabric at my local (insert expensive) fabric shop. Then I free hand cut see weed and kelp. Then the assembly began. I sewed on the green fabric to the bottom of the Blue and then added the "kelp". Then I began creating my under the sea scene. Using the WonderUnder was fantastic! Taught me a fantastic trick. It was the local Ikea’s 10th birthday and part of the celebration was that countertops were going to be $10 for any length. WOW. 8230;even though not very DIY since not making it with my own 2 hands….I felt that installing it myself will count. I will get these countertops! Exploring their website I saw they had a bunch of laminate countertops. But they also had amazing looking solid butcher block countertops.
