http://itspartytime.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 27 February 2013. Pandamonium - Part 1. Pandas are one of my favourite animals and after making reindeer cakes. I really wanted to try making a panda version. I love animals, which a lot of children do too so I thought animal themed cupcakes would be a great idea for a party. Http:/ www.birthdaycakes-idea.com/panda-cupcake-ideas-for-birthday-cake.html. Then my Mum borrowed a cupcake recipe book from a friend which had an amazing recipe for how to make them. Here's a bit about the book. However...

It's Party Time!: Happy Easter!
http://itspartytime.blogspot.com/2013/03/happy-easter.html
Sunday, 31 March 2013. Easter is another time for party food other than birthdays. Families often come together on the Easter Sunday and celebrate the day with a meal. Easter is a fun day for children with all the chocolate they get and is probably the second best holiday to their birthday! When I was young I remember we would always have an cake decorated with little fluffy yellow chicks sitting on top of the icing and my Mum would organise an Easter egg hunt for me. Which kids can help along with.

http://cookingwithmotherornot.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Cooking with Mother.or not. A blog for my Literature of Food class about my mother. Who does not cook. Saturday, 30 March 2013. I have been asked to include feelings in this final blog. Feelings about my mother not cooking and about the relationship between mothers and food in general. Now those of you who know me are aware that I am emotionally dead so this is no easy task. Food memoirs such as Nigel Slater's Toast. The smile is fake. She hated every minute. YOU DON'T NEED BOTH! She does however cook mo...

http://ejheatrick.blogspot.com/2013/03/spice-it-up-nandos-restaurant.html
As part of my University module on Literature and Food, I have created a blog looking at restaurants and food chains and how they choose to market their food through menus and advertising. Friday, 22 March 2013. Spice It Up - Nando's Restaurant. Nando's offer some culture other than their Portuguese heritage to their customers through their menu artwork competition. They’ve traditionally used their covers to ‘showcase their love of great art’ featuring styles notoriously linked with...Refuel - Soho Hotel.

As part of my University module on Literature and Food, I have created a blog looking at restaurants and food chains and how they choose to market their food through menus and advertising. Sunday, 31 March 2013. This blog has also given me the excuse to eat out as much as my student loan will permit, and also got me some very strange looks from surrounding tables as I took picture of every poster, dish and sentence of the menu. Refuel - Soho Hotel. The complimentary wine that is offered with the meal enc...

Harry Potter & the Goblet of Magical Food: Potted Potter

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Magical Food. Exploring the wonderful wizarding world of J.K. Rowling's 'Harry Potter' series through the focus on food. Tuesday, 2 April 2013. Towards the end of April, my cousin and I are going to see Potted Potter. It is an unauthorised parody of all the Harry Potter books condensed into a 70 minute play. Oh, and it is acted entirely by two men. Interesting. The reviews highlight that Jefferson Turner plays Harry Potter, whilst Daniel Clarkson plays all the other vital c...
