http://daveandjamie.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 16, 2014. Starting school and other adventures. In August, the Dallas Arboretum had dollar days which mean that we went twice! It was So entertaining (despite the HOT weather). There was lots of water works and misters and splash areas so we survived. It was fun to meet with a former roommate from college as well as another friend who just relocated to the area with us. I 've learn a few hairstyles, but my skills leave much to be desired. Our ward had a fun yoga relief society activity...

http://daveandjamie.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 29, 2014. For playgroup one week we hit this awesome pumpkin patch! I really missed Jackson and wish he didn't have to go to school so much! The girls loved it! Except for being brewed by Hallie. My cousin is serving the Fort Worth mission, so since we moved here, I've been on the hunt for him. the stars aligned and one night I had a Relief society meeting the same night as a district fireside. It was great to see him, so happy and full of light. I love our big family. Right before the...

Happiness at Home: March 2015
http://daveandjamie.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 1, 2015. Mariah cried for 90% of it because she didn't want to be in buckled in her seat and we didn't bring the carseat. I sat in the bathroom with her for 45 mins! It was horrible, but worth it because I knew I wanted to be with family. The lady next to me wasn't really in the Christmas spirit I guess. BYU vs. Gonzaga with my lovely sisters and other family. The Cougs gave a good exciting game, but in the end it wasn't enough. But it was worth it for Christmas dinner and time with family!

Monday, April 21, 2014. So he could get back to playing. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to go back to sleep so it was a long day for me too). Friday Dave, my dad and I played racquetball. I wish we had somewhere to play in AZ, I really like it! We cleaned up and headed to BYU to see the Carl Bloch Art exhibit (Sacred Gifts). I am SO happy we did this. I felt the spirit and I felt close to the Savior through the art pieces. It was a perfect beginning to Easter week, to turn our minds to Christ. Sunday morni...

Happiness at Home: June 2014
http://daveandjamie.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 17, 2014. 12 photos on the 12th of June. The kids and I were at the Shields Family reunion. We missed Daddy, but were surrounded by family. All 13 of my parents grandkids were together for the first time. It was totally chaotic with 13 kids under 5 and only the moms there. Luckily, my mom and Dad were amazing to hold babies, tend, wake up early, take kids around, etc. They are such amazing grandparents. Constantly serving the kids and the moms in turn. Cousin) and Lizzy (2. Grandma Louine i...

Happiness at Home: Maui for Memorial day
http://daveandjamie.blogspot.com/2015/08/maui-for-memorial-day.html
Monday, August 10, 2015. Maui for Memorial day. Six months is too long without our Hawaii fix. so we packed up and headed back to Maui to use our Hotel points at the fabulous Mariott resort there over the memorial day weekend. The flight from DFW is SO long (8 hours)! We let the kids bring their own entertainment/snack bags and it worked out well for them. We did a short nature hike which got us all very muddy. Mariah didn't like that at all. Great waterfall to explore. They get more and more brave a...

Happiness at Home: April 2015
http://daveandjamie.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 8, 2015. Denver for the first time! I was so happy we were headed to Denver. The flight was great. Mariah fell asleep and then Hallie fell asleep at the end. It was snowing when we touched down and it was cold in shorts and flip flops. We stayed up late talking and talking. We love discussing finances and life with them. Unfortunately, the kids were up early and the day started with lots of energy. MaryAnn and I went to work out and then took Jackson to eat lunch at Dayton's school.
