I had hoped this year would be “cancer free”, since last year Cori and my Dad were battling the big C. Unfortunately I am the one to add the color to this year’s festivities. I also consulted today with Dr. Q about my recent visit to Scripps and Dr. Andrey. Now for my Insight. I am thankful to my family. I am thankful to the friends of my family. I am thankful to facebook.

I am in remission. I have a temporary end to the myeloma cancer cells (5% or less) invading my bone marrow. The key word here is temporary. So what does that really mean? Do I still have cancer?
