Thursday, December 30, 2010. BYU at Air Force. We decided this fall to leave the kids with Taffy's mom and head off for an extended date to Colorado Springs for Jeremy's birthday with the Kinghorns. While the Cougs didn't fare too well against the Falcons, we still had a great time. The Air Force Academy stadium is a great place to watch a game. The scenery is great and the fans are extremely friendly. I'd recommend it to anyone. The Little Guy Turns 5. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Lorenz's On The Move.

Sunday, July 12, 2009. Heron Lake Camping Trip. We took the kids camping this weekend and had a really good time. 3 years ago I told Jeremy I wouldn't camp again until I knew my kids would sleep all night. After a test run in the yard we decided the trip was a go. We camped, made flamin' hot smoes , hiked, swam, and had a great time. We can't wait to do it again. Fun with glow sticks. We took a hike along the Rio Chama which has a series of stairs and a really cool suspension bridge over the river.

Thursday, August 30, 2012. I love these pictures. Rachel lives across the street and Zachary counts her as one of his best friends. On our way home from preschool today Zachary told her they should hold hands so they wouldn't get lost. Rachel just said, "OK" in her cute voice and off they went. Wednesday, May 20, 2009. Planning for the Future. We had our first graduation this week. kindergarten graduation. We haven't figured out exactly what the accomplishment is in passing kindergarten, but it was a chance for him to show the kids what looking sharp is all about. Also, some of the kids wanted to be teachers, others wanted to work at ice cream shops, but not this kid. Daddy Daughter Round Up. And another one bites the dust. Thanks to the fire pole at the end of the monkey bars at school.

Thursday, May 31, 2012. Can it really be summer already? Matthew had his last day of first grade today. I can't believe this little man is turning into more of a bigger little man every day. He told me this morning that he was excited and sad that school was done, but mostly excited. We'll see how long that lasts! We ran a few errands and by the time we got back it was hot and the kids were tired of being inside. Solution? Here they are loading up. Andrew playing with one of his favorite things - a broom.

Saturday, October 27, 2012. Our newest six year old! Ryan had a great day. He took one of his favorite treats, Tootsie Rolls, to school to share with the class.
