Before I went in for surgery a co-worker of mine told me that I might feel depressed after surgery and that I might go through a grieving process at the loss of my reproductive parts. I just looked at her and said, “I kind of doubt it”. I didn’t want to argue with her but anyone who really knows me knows that I’m just not hard wired that way. Am I more emotional now? Not so much….
