5 Months in February! In February Rowynn hit the five month mark. I have been taking monthly pictures of her and these are some of my favorites so far. I so enjoy taking photographs and have been working to better myself in terms of composition, lighting and such. It helps when you have such an adorable and photogenic subject! I call her "sweets" because that's just what she is - sweet as could be and so cute you could just eat her up! Posted by Mo and Mel. Saturday, March 24, 2012. Posted by Mo and Mel.

On one of our summer adventures we took a trip to the Potholes near Attica, IN. It was one of our favorite trips as it had a little adventure for everyone. We hiked back to the potholes and on the way found creepy crawlies, interesting plants, and Wyatt of course found some mud! The highlight at the end of the hike was the actual potholes filled with water to play in. The kids had so much fun rummaging through the gobs of rocks, wading through the water, and of course skipping rocks. Posted by Mo and Mel.

Ch Ch Ch Changes! At the end of the 2012 school year I got some exciting news - the middle school just around the corner from our house was going to have an art position open up. I didn't immediately jump at the chance to start fresh for many reasons. I started my teaching career at good ol' WMS! I have been teaching there a total of 10 years. I have mighty strong attachments to this wonderful school and its staff. I have alot of heart vested in WMS and the students there. My room is crazy and I love it!

This month their is no storytime, but Avery and Wyatt took it upon themselves when we got home from our trip to the library to read a book together. They are liking the Llama Llama series of books by Anna Dewdney and this is what they are reading together. Of course they also chose to pose for the camera after I snapped some candid shots of them. What hams! Posted by Mo and Mel. Sunday, August 07, 2011. Flowers, Dirt, and Worms. Avery, my self-proclaimed princess, surprised me with her enthusiasm with th...

I had to share some of the fun little phrases my wonderful toddlers have been sharing with us. After learning to talk just over a year ago it seems their vocabulary and speech has sky rocketed! Just the other day Avery was trying to do something on her own and started to have some trouble. Wyatt jumped right in to help (and she actually let him help) and after completing the task said "Easy Peasy Avery" after which they both giggled and Avery repeated, "Easy Peasy! I want to be little! She did it by hers...

One of Avery and Wyatt's favorite places to go is the zoo. This past week we visited the Indianapolis Zoo over my Spring Break. Dad took a personal day from work to join us and we could not have picked a more perfect day. Some of the key exhibits we had to hit were the elephants, the penguins, and for Wyatt we could not miss the warthogs! Last summer we visited the zoo with our Aunts and cousins. I had Morgan take a shot on this trip to mark the changes that 8 months has brought our way! For gifts this y...

This year for Valentine's Day the kids and I had a blast creating cards to send to family. They thought adding mustaches and glasses to their pictures was great fun. They were able to choose what style mustache and glasses as well as the colors. *We also made chocolate dipped pretzels for our friends. They had great fun sprinkling their pretzels with hearts and lips! Next year we'll make a bigger batch! There were no fingers licked during the making of these pretzels {at least not caught on camera}!

A week ago we were able to head outside and snap some photos of our recently expanded family. I can't believe we are now a family of five! I am loving it and couldn't have asked for a more perfect family! Posted by Mo and Mel. Monday, November 14, 2011. We happen to have a few small ponds behind our subdivision. We have taken many walks around what the kids call "the goose pond" and have even watched daddy fish on a few occasions. On this visit we took the kids to catch their. Posted by Mo and Mel. Monda...
