Peter's Kimberley Trip 2014. One off the bucket list. June 26, 2014. Day 10 at Alice Springs 26th June. Day 10 of the trip and the Red Centre is almost complete. Since leaving Yulara on the 22. June, I been without any mobile or internet capacity, but I’m now in Alice Springs. So were have I been. I headed up the Kings Canyon (Watarrka) and had beautiful weather for walking the Canyon rim early on the morning of the 23. Temp was in the high teens with clear blue skies giving good photo opportunities.

Found at Miners camp that I had lost all the water from the Cub 80 litre tank. A rock had taken the drain plug T-piece clean off. Fortunately I was able to remove the remains of the T-piece and shorten the hose to seal the tank. Back to Drysdale River Station next morning to fill the water tank (water was free). Di and Daves Tagalong tours. Thursday, May 14, 2015. Our next trip - Eyre Peninsular in September. Well time to start planning the next Tagalong Tours trip. September (with a bit of luck) will see us retrace some of our WA tour. At least to Poochera then we head across to Streaky Bay and down along the Eyre Peninsular.
