Because we wanted some access to news and weather and analog tv is going the way of the gas light. So here we are exploring this new thing called on demand. Wow! We found and watched some back shows of CSI NY that we have missed, as well as Numb3rs AND tomorrow there will be Battlestar Galactica! We are busy resting. Something we haven't done in literally years!

In my favor I have been busy with holidays followed by an extremely disappointing reentry conference, followed by a couple weeks of visiting friends, family and churches. We got sick in the midst of all this and have spent several weeks recovering from flu, bronchitis and exhaustion. As excuses go I think these are good! I'm making a few changes and so is the rest of the family.

By now everyone should know that I don't like Rio - but I'm making the best of it - well most of the time I try to make the best of it. I'm sad and I don't want to go. On the plus side, (and I'm not talking about the WEIGHT that I've gained in the last year - and whilst. Ok - kids are here and Betters too so I am very distracted.

I'm still alive, although obviously not posting much. Work has been crazy, although they seem to like the job that I've been doing. I've been spending a lot of time trying to be a reasonably good partner and uncle, and I've been playing and watching a lot of baseball. That and a few karaoke outings for fun.
