StaytonServingSpain: April 2011
http://staytonservingspain.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 4, 2011. This is a lengthy blog, but I pray that God’s glory and His hand will be evident for you in this account and that it will be a blessing your life. Our turn arrived as we went to the window for our uneventful drop off. Well, God had different plan. Remember, we had left the one from the website at home. You got it! Well, it’s a seal that you have attached to the document from your Secretary of State! How are we going to get this seal? Remember the consulate’s office closed at ...

Wednesday, May 25, 2011. Packing, Unpacking and Repacking. Now, that we have received our visa approvals from Spain, have picked the visas up in Chicago, and have booked flights to depart on June 14th. The clutter from the last 6 months of waiting is being cleared, and the suitcases are once again being prepared for travel. I pray that packing this time goes more smoothly than the last time we packed up… packing, unpacking, repacking! Jared started looking up the weight restrictions on our luggage. H...

Monday, August 1, 2011. We are just blown away by God! I know that we shouldn’t be, yet, here we are in awe of Him. He is truly blessing our ministry here in Spain. This last week has been such a testament to the work He is doing in us, through us, and around us. We have definitely experienced some of God’s divine appointments and have been aware of the Holy Spirit leading our fellowship and our work. We made plans to get together again soon. Pepe has invited Jared to a weekly men’s game night&...Http:/ ...

StaytonServingSpain: "WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?" [Part 2]
http://staytonservingspain.blogspot.com/2012/11/what-are-you-going-to-do-part-2.html
Tuesday, November 27, 2012. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? If you recall from our last post, two envelopes had stopped all the hustle and bustle of life. We were left dazed and confused but leaning on the Lord and His understanding, not our own. We were faced ( for the first and definitely not for the last time). With a very good question. What are you going to do? So, we prayed together. We began discussing, implementing, and executing the "to-do's":. We called our friends on the "need to know" list that don...

Friday, March 9, 2012. Jumped Right Into January. Yes, I realize that we are beginning March. I had intended to put all of January and February’s happenings into one blog, but I realized that you would all be reading and watching videos for a very long time! So, jumping right into January and a new year in Spain. We celebrated New Year’s Eve with our church family and friends at Parque Victoria. We enjoyed a meal, worship and prayer, ringing in the new year, setting off fireworks, participating...Some fr...

It was a fabulous surprise, and we had to then spill our pending surprise to them. It was an occasion for our family to rejoice in the bond that God instills in us and grows between us on a daily basis. Yes, we praise God for His gifts.of family, of letters, of timing, but most importantly, of His Son! La vida en España.

Thursday, December 29, 2011. Holiday Season in Spain. This blog post is long but will be low on words consisting mainly of pictures and videos. ENJOY! So, 1 of 2! We prepared a quasi American Thanksgiving meal. Smoked turkey legs, sweet mashed potatoes, garlic mashed potatoes, and slow cooked bacon onion green beans. Not to mention a table full of yummy goodies to munch on before and after the meal (olives, pickles, cheeses and crackers, veggies and dip). Yes, the kids all just watched the dads play.).

StaytonServingSpain: "WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?" [Part 4]
http://staytonservingspain.blogspot.com/2012/11/what-are-you-going-to-do-part-4.html
Friday, November 30, 2012. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? In these last couple months, we have heard the question over and over again. In the last few weeks, we have received the answer after much prayer. What are you going to do? It's not about what we are going to do. It's about what God is doing. God pulled us from our work in Spain. God orchestrated a great move within 10 days. God provides for our physical, spiritual and emotional needs. God planned these days long before our births. Is what we are doing.
