Tuesday, June 21, 2011. I just got back from a 2 week adventure last night (I worked an extra shift to make up for the shift I missed earlier this summer). Both weeks were spent in Ouray, UT. Ouray is like an oasis in a desert! It was a pretty relaxing week because the group I was with were pretty accustomed to Aspiro already and very chill (not a lot of bickering, which wasn't really the case with last week's group so it was really nice). Tuesday, May 31, 2011. The gals at the wedding reception, wish we had Crystal in here with us! On Thursday Jared, Stacie, Grandma, and I flew to Oregon for my brother Brandt's wedding. He met a lovely girl, Crystal, from our hometown. They were married in the Portland Oregon Temple on Friday, May 27th. It was a gorgeous morning! Wednesday, August 12, 2015. Family Night at the Top of the World. Shaunie had the brilliant idea to have family night at a park in Newport Coast. She whipped up a portable dinner while I blended up my own dinner (green smoothie) and off we went. Nom, nom, nom. Shaunie and the kids ate spaghetti with creamy tomato sauce and we all had some yummy watermelon, cucumbers, and raw broccoli. Jilly teaching us her lesson. Evelyn taking her turn teaching. Wednesday, April 30, 2014. April is a busy month! It's the kick off to spring and birthdays and holidays for us. We took a bike ride one Sunday afternoon and happened upon this outdoor gallery of marble carvings. The kids now refer to it as La Luna Park ("The Moon" in Spanish. Statues mooning us, get it? Out on a ride with Ben and Gordon, getting to know the Back Bay trails a little better. Such a pretty view! I think Gordon may have been pointing out the birds or something. Neighborhood Easter egg hunt.
