Tuesday, August 10, 2010. Lassen Volcanic National Park. Dan and I have wanted to visit Lassen Volcanic National Park since we moved to California. Dan is a sucker for anything with "volcanic" in its name and I am a sucker for smores. In celebration of our third aniversary and to just go camping we headed up for a long four day weekend along with some friends, Arum and Steve. Dan, Arum and Steve cooking dinner. Everyone at the top of Mt. Lassen. Descending the chaos crags. Mt Lassen from Manzanita Lake.

Saturday, January 2, 2010. Holidays are over and a new year has arrived . I can't believe it is 2010! Weren't we supposed to have electric, flying cars by now? I also learned to crochet from a group of graduate students before break and have been busy making simple potholders and a hat that I am quite proud of. I want a hat! All I got was a yellow potholder and I really like the hat - a yellow one would be very nice. I could see myself wearing it in a Tracker! January 2, 2010 at 10:16 PM.
