Last modified: 28.06.2016. DXCC entities worked since October 2011 with max. 100 Watts output power into a vertical/ dipole. WAE CW Class I. 5 Band WAC CW. On May 24th, 2013 SV2ASP/A on Mt. Athos was QRV on 18 MHz. Here is a record of three QSOs:. I had the pleasure to work SV2ASP/A on that day for an All Time New One. His QSL arrived about a monk later.

2/ 3 October 2015. QTH: Augstenberg, 2359m a.s.l. - Locator: JN47TB. We were once again active as HB0/DL4AAE/p and HB0/DL3TU/p from the summit Augstenberg and operated Field Day style using our K3s and our home made VDAs. Condx were good at times. 17m appeared to be the most reliable band with good QSO- rates throughout the activation. 15m and 12m produced nice pile ups but were not open all day long. 10m opened for about an hour on Friday and very briefly on Saturday. For the demodulation of sideband signals we used two radios: One to receive the signal of interest and the other, usually a tube radio with low IF isolation, served as 'BFO'. Both signals mixed in radio #1 and with a little luck the unintelligible jabbering turned into a clear voice. On a winter's afternoon I heard an EA- station working JA on 40m SSB. British Navy Morse key from the 1950's. Its more than a foot long and pretty heavy. I treasure this one most of all because my friend Kenni used it for ages. Morsetaste K64" (VEB Leipzig). This was my first key, bought 1993 at the Ham Radio in Friedrichshafen and I still like it.
