Saturday, June 20, 2009. Grosse Scheidegg Switzerland Hike. On June 10 we started our hike in Meiringen Switzerland. Meiringne is a two hour train ride south west of Zurich. Our hike will take us over the Grosse Scheidegg pass at 1962 meters and then on into Grindelwald. The length of the hike is 28 kilometer.
