New Ideas Exhibition 2010. The exhibition features works by 11 artists from School of Media Arts, College of Fine Arts, UNSW and D/Lux Media Arts. Each artist is engaging with the site and its history over and undertaking extensive research and audio-visual documentation of the buildings and its flora and fauna, meeting current and past staff, recording the passage of light and sound on the site and interpreting the history of people who have lived and worked here. New Ideas Exhibition 2010. A large group of people have worked over the years to make Government House a truly enriched Historical House. As a result everybody everyone who walks through the front door feels as if they could engage and relate to a part of Sydney’s History has stood on the shore of Sydney harbour for over 142 years.
