A little discussed area where artists are also getting exploited is the internet in the form of corporate profiteering. I’m sure some studio rats who hang on certain forums will argue that they can feel more presence and air in soundstage recording at 192Khz or some other ridiculousness, this video pretty much explains what most of us knew; that it’s a waste of disk space.
