We finally made it out of town around 7 pm and drove into Goodland, Ks at nearly 10 pm. About 2 hrs into the drive our girls started asking the dreaded question."when are we gonna be there? Beyond the Garden Gate. Consequently, through a series of self-inflicted and miserable events, we walked right out of the garden and into the desert and we wonder why we're so thirsty all the time and in need of refreshing. The truth is, there is nothing out here to sustain us. The bigger truth is that we're supposed to be the ones delivering the only hope of survival in a dry and thirsty land. Obedience, Jesus is the gate to the garden. (John 14:6). Go find a millionaire in the desert who hasn't seen wa...

You may ask "what's so dangerous about all that? Labels: For the King and The Kingdom. As long as it is called 'today' " Heb. 3:7-15. Years ago I had a dream/vision/encounter, call it what you like. It altered my existence and it still won't let go of me. It flows like this:. You, are going to do the high-dive today.",. Today is the day you conquer your 'high-dive' fears.",. Then it's pretty much a done deal, right? Don't look down. Don't look down.". I spilled out into the atmosphere. Perhaps I just...

Wednesday, May 2, 2012. We are SO PROUD of Daddy! This past Sunday, Daddy ran in his very first half marathon! Unfortunately, it was not that nice of a day. It rained almost the entire time he ran.so he was soaked when it was all said and done. But, he never stopped. He kept to his own personal goal of not stopping to walk. The girls and I mapped out a couple different spots on the route where we could stand and watch him run by us to CHEER him on! They even slapped his hand as he ran by us. Chris, Jenny,.

Tuesday, July 28, 2009. We took Levi lunch today at work. After we were done eating Jocelyn crawled up on the patient's exam table and laid back then lifted her shirt and said "baby". She wanted Levi to look at the baby in her tummy! Kids are sooo funny! We did peek at the baby in Mommy's tummy again.it is so fun to see him or her grow and move! Monday, July 27, 2009. Thursday, May 28, 2009. Well, I am officially on summer vacation! Thankfully it was only that one night, the next morning she went back to the sweet sound of "Mommy"! Tuesday, May 5, 2009. I am a proud momma! I did a list of Jocelyn's words yesterday and came up with 80 words/phrases. Wow, those vocabularies grow so quickly. Here are her words/phrases:. Get up (loves to tell daddy that in the morning). Higher (when we are swinging). Horse (which she constantly calls Nee). Do it (code for Mommy do it).

I can't wait to see the sister connection develop further. Jocelyn loves her sister. She is a good helper for mom most of the time too. Lauren is a good baby. She is eating well, sleeping 4-5 hour stretches at night and is usually a very content and happy baby. She will be one month old on Friday! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Taylor Tales: December 2010
http://leviandjulie.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 23, 2010. Merry Christmas from the Taylor family! We have had an eventful year. The birth of our second daughter Lauren last January has kept us busy. Jocelyn has been a great big sister and is very helpful. Things are getting more interesting though as Lauren starts to crawl. Lets just say Jocelyn's patience has been tried! Levi went antelope hunting in Wyoming and also got a big buck this year (that will be his third deer to get mounted). They are however banished to the basement!

Taylor Tales: January 2009
http://leviandjulie.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 9, 2009. Jocelyn can now say "Amen" and put her hands together when Mommy or Daddy says it is time to pray. She also called for Dada to come get her from her room yesterday morning when she woke up. We have been waiting for her to request us in the morning. It is fun to watch her grow. Friday, January 2, 2009. Lesson for me to learn. I am currently reading "More Than Enough" by Dave Ramsey. I keep mulling over the truth of the following passage and had to share it. I needed to read that a...
