Saturday, September 3, 2011. Europe Part 1 – Dublin. Matt and I collecting our bags at the Dublin Airport. The reason we went to Ireland…Guinness. The groups first Guinness…its almost noon…I think? Certainly no were near our last. An interesting group of locals heading to the pub from some beverages. Our double-decker open-top bus tour….jackets required…later on it rained and we moved downstairs. Smallest pub in Ireland…probably. The jet-lag is setting in. JenRob and JenJan at Kilmainham Gaol.

Tuesday, April 1, 2014. The Polar Express and Santa's Workshop! Just before Christmas we headed to Flagstaff and caught the Polar Express. What a fun train ride all the way to the North Pole (or so they say). We all had a blast pulling out our winter clothes and spending time in the snow. Made it actually feel like Christmas. The best part is in order to go on the Polar Express you simply have to put on your pajamas and a warm coat! Getting into their Polar Express attire at the hotel before we left.

Wednesday, January 15, 2014. Fall Break in San Diego. Road Trip to San Diego! Now that we have a kindergartner we had to start planning family vacations around the school calendar. This year we decided to stay fairly close to home and drive to San Diego for a little getaway. It is only about 4 hours away and only Shaun had been there before so we figured it was the perfect family spot! Although we are not golfers we stayed at the Lodge at Torrey Pines. Wow, what a great hotel! Sunset over the ocean.

Monday, August 27, 2012. This year both of the kids really enjoyed Easter and especially going on Easter egg hunts. Larkin and Brayden on hunt number 1 at the local park for our playgroup. Bray searching for eggs! Checking out what he found. Poor Brayden was too tired to dye eggs, but Larkin sure had fun! Getting the hang of it.
