I’m so excited! Now I understand how to go about including this learning style into my classroom with ease. Even better, in the process I can have a pathway into learning more about my students by reading about the types of artists they like and why they have chosen those artists. The demos today were all excellent. I liked the thought that teachers need to meet the students’ mode of learning with technology as presented in the first demo. I wrote an “I Am” poem today. I think I’ll also use this activity with my students, even in conjunction with Bryn’s activity. I LOVED the presentation this morning by Nini and Kathleen about plays. I see lots of potential to incorporate this kind of writing in my math classroom. I can create plays with gaps of conceptual knowledge and have the children re-write the play or create it into a comic strip and correct the conceptual knowledge.
