The 10minute stop at Mugla is not enough to order lunch, but just about enough to pick up a sandwich and a half each, and start to chomp standing on the vast expanse that is the Otogar. We’re in a small run-down red car that serves as the shuttle from Jimmy’s Place. It’s a free shuttle, and it’s a shuttle to go to the one place that justifies the existence of Selcuk town on the tourist map. One has done no justice to this with words, so maybe you could go check out the photos.

Random reading led me to a map drawn by one Peri Reis. Reis’ meaning Admiral) way back in the 16th century (about 1513AD). He was not much of an explorer (given that his country was not either), but quite a cartographer and analyst- so he created this map. There has been a lot of wonderment.
