DNA는 개인의 다양한 정보를 담고 있는 생체정보이고, 가족정보까지 포함하기 때문에 매우 민감한 유전정보입니다. 국가가 개인의 생체정보까지 관리하는 것은 범죄수사 목적 외로 분석된 유전정보가 오 남용되는 등 인권 침해를 낳을 수 있습니다. DNA법은 2010년 강력범죄를 예방하고 장래 범죄수사에 활용할 목적으로 제정되었습니다. 그렇다면 DNA를 채취할 수 있는 범죄가 강력범죄로 한정되어야 합니다. 그러나 실제로는 노동자나 철거민 등을 대상으로 무분별하게 DNA가 채취되었습니다. 절박한 이들이 파업이나 농성으로 대항하였기 때문입니다. 헌법재판소는 2014년 5:4로 DNA법에 대한 합헌결정을 내렸습니다. 채취 요구를 받은 분들은 연락주세요.
