The tolboe family: our stories. Sunday, August 12, 2012. Gavin has had a great summer with swim team. He was again in mini splash, a team for beginners! This year he was one of the most advanced on his team. He came in first at both of his meets. We were so proud of him. This is Gavin getting an award at the end of season banquet. He did so well. Home is where life's journey begins. Saturday, October 22, 2011. Kinamo left for an eighteen day "deployment" last Saturday. So to start off our time without him we headed to Apple Hill. It was perfect fall weather. The trees were beautiful! We enjoyed the apple donuts, apple cotton candy and kettle corn. The kids loved running up and down the ravine. I said sure. They had a great time and it was really fun for me to watch them. They were very gentle. The end result is one I have kept in close toed shoes.
