Hello hello hello? - Tesla Uncoils
http://vinnie-tesla.livejournal.com/77942.html
Sun, Feb. 5th, 2012, 03:02 pm. I've realized that there's a bit of a feedback loop going. I feel like the number of people still readng this journal has declined in the last year or two, and that's made me less inclined to devote energy to putting together essays to post. This, of course, makes people less inclined to keep an eye out for my writing. So: Let me know. Are you still reading here? Is there a forum you like better? Should I be posting on Google or my own website instead? Ass In. Chair. My ego...

Writings from the Abyss. Sep 24th, 2008 at 5:58 PM. Well, I'm getting back into writing a bit, and may give a stab to NaNoWriMo this year again. I don't plan on overdoing it, though. In the past, novels have tended to overrun my life during November, and I can't afford that this year. Here's the idea (needs to be researched, though, to make sure the chronology fits):. First problem: Not sure if pirates actually attacked slave ships. While this doesn't seem like much of an improvement, the voodoo powers o...

Things I’ve Learned in Storytelling - Note to Self
http://saetter.livejournal.com/40027.html
I Should Be Writing. Things I’ve Learned in Storytelling. However, I do spend a lot of time thinking about storytelling, and why some stories succeed or fail. The reasons often vary depending on the medium, but there are still some rules that extend across all delivery methods. Books require a different pace than TV, which requires a different pace than movies, but all rely on character and structure. If I started a weekly series about these observations, would you be interested? Tags: Things I’ve Learned.
