The thoughts and ponderings of a pediatrician and father of three. Wednesday, March 9, 2011. Post #22 Fever Phobia Deconstructed. The thoughts and ponderings of a pediatrician and father of three. Friday, December 5, 2014. Post #41 Update on the 2014-15 Flu Vaccine. The main circulating flu this year is a recently mutated H3N2 strain (91% in one sample). Because of this new mutation, the vaccine currently used is not a great match for this particular strain. Sadly, 5 kids have already died this year from flu-related illnesses and the flu season is just beginning. Deadlier Flu Season Is Possible, C.D.C. Says. On June 1, 2008 10-year...

A Pediatrician's Blog: Post #10 The Changing Landscape of Fever
http://peterjung.blogspot.com/2007/12/changing-landscape-of-fever.html
The thoughts and ponderings of a pediatrician and father of three. Wednesday, August 20, 2008. Post #10 The Changing Landscape of Fever. Fever today is not the same fever of 30 years ago. In January 2008, the Food and Drug Administra...
