Tanner Travels: November 2008
http://jared-adri.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 23, 2008. 35 weeks-35 days to go. Elena recently wanted to have a baby in her tummy, too! I just realized that if this baby is born the same time in the pregnancy as E was, we have 18 days left. Wow! Mind you, I think this baby will wait (or perhaps go past) her due date, and I'm telling myself January so I won't be disappointed if her due date comes and goes without a baby. Due dates are overrated. :) But boy, do we have a lot of work to do! Posted by Jared and Adri. I was pretty upset&...

Tanner Travels: June 2009
http://jared-adri.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 19, 2009. AAhhhhh.Summer in Spokane. The winter was long, cold, snowy and a bit depressing, but summer is making up for it! As I told Jared last night, I am rather fond of summer in Spokane! Here we are in mid-to-late June and we haven't used air conditioning in our house yet! Heck, we don't even own one yet! Although we're buying 2 small window units from friends who are moving to England today. Anyway, my point is that this is the mildest summer I've ever seen and I like it! Michelle is a ...

Tanner Travels: October 2008
http://jared-adri.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 24, 2008. When we got here we were happy to find an apple tree in our new backyard, loaded with apples! The tree hasn't been cared for in a while, it is overgrown and the tons of apples are really wormy.(By the way Mom and Dad, thanks for the awesome pruning job when you were here). The apples are perfect for applesauce! It took awhile to get them peeled, cored, and de-wormed (mmmm protein! But we have our first batch of warm, chunky, low sugar homemade applesauce! Don't Fence Me In. Wednesday, February 25, 2009. Flight comes soon, and so do the flight costs. Above: Missionary Aviation students at Moody Bible Institute wheel a Cessna 337 out of a hangar during their airframe maintenance training. By this summer, they should have their Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) mechanics' certificates, but many wonder how they will pay for their upcoming flight training. July 13th, 2009. Would you pray a bold prayer, that God would provide for my class's upcoming expenses in thi...

Don't Fence Me In: Chasing Needles
http://jonathanschultz.blogspot.com/2014/09/chasing-needles.html
Don't Fence Me In. Saturday, September 13, 2014. Work how I'd like. I will usually end up at the other extreme of what I want. We call this "chasing the needles", because the pilot notices a problem but overreacts to it, making an uncomfortable ride. If I instead look outside at my airplane's pitch when I adjust it and then let the plane stabilize at the new speed, I'll fly my airspeed much more precisely. You've seen an extreme that you want to correct, but if your focus is on not.

Don't Fence Me In. Friday, October 10, 2014. Off Centerline, Correcting". Generally, side stripes give us enough distance from other cars. We can wander around in our lane a fair bit. Some drivers of average-sized vehicles carelessly drift around in their lanes like a ball thrown by a five-year-old at a bumper bowling alley. When these types of drivers take flight lessons, they use the entire runway as one giant lane. Where in life do I wander from side to side? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Don't Fence Me In. Thursday, June 19, 2008. Somewhere between Chicago and Miami. Just thought I'd post something before I make my first official stop in São Paulo, Brazil. At this post I was safe and in one piece in Miami International Airport, and I haven´t lost any luggage! I should be arriving in Manaus on Monday, June 23rd, and for the time I´m there this number should work to get ahold of me: (92)3646-0882. I love you all! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Tanner Travels: Well friends.....
http://jared-adri.blogspot.com/2011/01/well-friends.html
Thursday, January 6, 2011. I'm back. At least for today. Just jump right back in. Okay, I can do that. And I'm not going to hold myself to any kind of standard for this blog. Ok, let's jump back in! So as you probably know I'm frugal, and I like couponing. Nothing too crazy, just like matching coupons with sales and keeping a small stockpile. Also my mom got us lots of groceries when they were here for Thanksgiving. Back to the brainstorm: "Hey! So that's what I'm doing. Coffee, peanut butter, and milk&#...
