Doctor in the Sand: November 2013

http://doctorinthesand.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html

Doctor in the Sand. The life of a veterinary student in the Caribbean at SGUSVM. Sunday, November 10, 2013. What if I had come home a little earlier? Why didn't I just take the extra stupid 30 seconds to put the food away? All I had to do was cross the room! Such a simple act could have made things so drastically different for us. Rhetorical questions I will never have the answers to. Sunday, November 3, 2013. One of the pumpkins must have been at least 5 inches thick! We sank the pumpkins in about 20 ft...

Doctor in the Sand: Six Months

http://doctorinthesand.blogspot.com/2014/04/six-months.html

Doctor in the Sand. The life of a veterinary student in the Caribbean at SGUSVM. Thursday, April 10, 2014. Somehow six whole months have slipped by since I found myself in the middle of a never ending nightmare. The void in my heart still persists, the pain of the loss of such a beloved companion is ever so deep. I miss her more than I could have believed possible. It is humbling to know just how much love a person can hold for another life. Good to know I can make old toys very exciting so easily!

Doctor in the Sand. The life of a veterinary student in the Caribbean at SGUSVM. Thursday, May 1, 2014. Time for Term 6 Final Exams. We start our last set of final exams at SGU tomorrow morning. Yikes! The time seems to have simply slipped away from me over the last 9 months or so. Perhaps what that really means is that I've spent a lot more time on myself and my studies than I have on the internet? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Time for Term 6 Final Exams. Doctor in the Sand: Paw Prints Crossing the Rainbow Bridge

http://doctorinthesand.blogspot.com/2014/03/paw-prints-crossing-rainbow-bridge.html

Doctor in the Sand. The life of a veterinary student in the Caribbean at SGUSVM. Thursday, March 13, 2014. Paw Prints Crossing the Rainbow Bridge. Another one of our beloved pets passed away today. Not Sampson, he's still a bouncy puppy bringing filthy and stinky toys onto my bed, but instead one our family dogs Lance. Unfortunately that's not what was in store for him. The procedure that absolutely should have made him feel better didn't help him. The disease process was more aggressive more qui...My he...

Doctor in the Sand: February 2014

http://doctorinthesand.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html

Doctor in the Sand. The life of a veterinary student in the Caribbean at SGUSVM. Saturday, February 22, 2014. It's been just under a year now since I started diving. I definitely wasn't thrilled at first, but I'm glad I stuck with it and finished my open water certification, because my interest started to raise from there. This morning I completed my 100th dive! Definitely an achievement worth celebrating! I'm pretty busy as you can imagine, but I wouldn't have it any other way! Monday, February 10, 2014.

Grape and beef liver and cherry and beef kidney. Yum. Oh lord no. I found out my left hand likes to think for itself, because it kept wanting to drift around. Yes, just poking my head in here. Expect more regular updates after August 27 when second year officially starts. Which brings me to my latest scar in the making. El Blog del Doctor Intratable. 8220;El córner corto es para el hockey”. Septiembre 1, 2009. Atlanta va ganando metros. Como en el rugby. La semana pasada estabamos a 30 metros del arco. Hoy estamos a 28.
