http://veesadventures.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Adventures of the Vees. The days are long, but the years are short. Monday, April 29, 2013. After reading quite a few articles and watching one documentary (PBS Michael Mosley's 'The Truth About Exercise') over the course of the last year or so, I finally made the decision to convert my work space from a sitting desk to a standing one. Sneak preview of the final result with sneaky cat. Standing at my desk. Sunday, April 28, 2013. Apparently we weren't that busy. Or, too busy to take many photos. Sean Syl...

Adventures of the Vees. The days are long, but the years are short. Sunday, March 31, 2013. Saturday, March 30, 2013. Ryan - 2.5 years old. You turned 2.5 years old. You are growing into a happy, strong-willed little boy. Here are some of the highlights of the past 6 months: your favorite color has been orange, with red and pink in close second. Adventures of the Vees: February 2013
http://veesadventures.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Adventures of the Vees. The days are long, but the years are short. Saturday, February 16, 2013. Went to Washington Park to do a bit of easy hiking on the trails around there. It was a cold day! The best part of the hike was seeing all the plants, bushes, and trees that were labeled with their names and reading them and talking about them with Jake. We can now recognize by sight some of the native plants around here (even if we don't remember their names). Can we go to the zoo? Is it time for the zoo?

Adventures of the Vees: Thanksgiving 2013
http://veesadventures.blogspot.com/2013/11/thanksgiving-2013.html
Adventures of the Vees. The days are long, but the years are short. Thursday, November 28, 2013. The 4 of us went to my parent's house for Thanksgiving this year. It was a sweet family affair! Gramma set up the salt tray. It was Ryan's first time with it and he loved it. Jake couldn't wait for his brother to give him a turn as he has played with the salt tray many times but it is always fun. Happy to be together. Ryan had the job of ringing the dinner and dessert bell. Papa at work carving the bird.

Adventures of the Vees: December 2013
http://veesadventures.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Adventures of the Vees. The days are long, but the years are short. Saturday, December 21, 2013. I love to celebrate the solstice. For me it represents a brief interlude from the Christmas magic/busyness/intensity to focus on the root cause of this whole season - the darkest day of the year and the return of the light. We asked some of our good friends to come celebrate with us. My beautiful boys enjoying some kombucha. Beautiful chocolate peppermint cake from Baker and Spice bakery. We love the picture!
