Random thoughts of mine. Tuesday, March 31, 2009. My senior thesis is complete. The culmination of 4 years of work. All presented today. I feel light. free. fluffy. I haven't gotten any exercise recently. I have been too busy spending time hunched over my computer with a Glorious spring of Dr. Pepper and Endless music by the Weepies. Random thoughts of mine. Tuesday, March 23, 2010. I knitted myself a hat, and Mom wanted to see what it looks like, so here you go:. Its a waffle knit! Basically I knitted it in a week. Here are the responses I got from various people:. Sarah: How old are you? Michael: Are you really knitting in the car? Abby: Finally, someone else who knits in the car! Random thoughts of mine. Saturday, September 12, 2009. Now I am growing tomatoes on my back porch, and I snag innocent passers-by and say "come look at my tomatoes! Of all the plants I tried growing this summer, the tomatoes are really the only ones who survived from seed to fruit. I planted the seeds in early May and they are finally growing things! Well, I haven't had time to write about my Houston trip yet, what with battlestar galactica on the tv all the time, but I just needed to share this wonderful little gem. Just the fact that someone took the time to go in their house, make this sign, print it, and then walk down the street to put it on my windshield makes me laugh, especially because they really objected to walking that far to the mailbox in the first place. Random thoughts of mine. Sunday, November 9, 2008. Saturday, November 8, 2008. So, new game. GRE vocab Charades! It is quite an esoteric, challenging game. you try acting out "ephemeral". Example: Michael is acting it out, Diana and I are guessing. 1 finger for first part of word-. Michael pretends to hack, leaning towards the trashcan, just in case- also pretends to sneeze. Nodding, he indicates the second word and blows up his cheeks and holds out his arms as if they were around a large belly.
