Monday, February 11, 2008. We had a full morning yesterday. It started out with a walk in which Maggie and I stop off and see some animals at a farm near by. We then went to the park where Maggie went up and down the slide. We then went home where Maggie helped me in the garden. We then finished our chores while enjoying some water from the hose. Monday, June 8, 2015. Family, cake and ice cream! On Saturday, the 6th, we had family over for cake and ice cream to celebrate Grant and Kahle's birthdays! They were SO excited to have family come over, it might have been more exciting than the cake and ice cream :). This man is awesome! We tagged teamed for the cakes. I am so grateful he is good at this stuff! Grant picked a Mario cake. Kahle wanted a minion, but couldn't decide between purple and yellow. So we ended up with this :). Being sung to :).

Saturday, April 25, 2015. Well yesterday marks 1 week since my ACL surgery and tomorrow is 3 weeks from my original injury date. It's been a long 3 weeks, but this last week has been full of ups and downs! After issues with the scheduler at my ortho's office (she really gave us problems), we FINALLY had a date and time! I have never had to do this for any surgery I have had. But I had to wipe down my entire body, focusing on my left leg, with these wipes the night before and the morning of my surgery.

Friday, June 5, 2015. He woke up early and was ready for his Birthday! I can't believe he is 11! Presents were the first order of business. For breakfast he picked nutella crepes with a raspberry sauce, eggs and circle sausage. All dressed and ready for the day. Such a handsome Birthday boy! Happy 11th Birthday to one loving, stubborn, helpful, imaginative boy! You entered our lives and calmed our hearts at a turning point in our family. We love you SO much! And hope this next year is a fantastic one!

Friday, October 31, 2014. Today couldn't have been more perfect! Our day started with us deep cleaning the house (yes I know super exciting). Then we just took it easy and enjoyed spending time together. After our cleaning, the kids enjoyed a fun breakfast! Pumpkin shaped 'egg in a hole' toast and scrambled eggs.
