Some insights from a very average person living a very normal life. Thank you for dropping by! I truly appreciate that you've decided to share part of your day in my world. I hope your time has been well spent and I've made you smile, laugh or think. Friday, July 3, 2015. We had one and would pull it out every once in awhile. It still needed the ice and rock salt. Every time we would make it we would say "We should do this more often! And, of course, we never did. So flash ahead to last summer. We were l...

In order to reach this goal, I have 50 pounds to lose. Now that I have this goal I feel like I am on my way. Here we go everyone! Monday, April 1, 2013. My chiropract...

From Couch Potato to Half Marathon Competitor. Follow me as I journey from a sedentary lifestyle to an active runner. Thursday, August 29, 2013. Trying to run with osteoarthritis. I also read that broccoli may also help ease joint pain caused by arthritis. I have a huge bag of frozen organic broccoli from Costco in my freezer that just became more important. Trying to shed my potato skin and find my inner skinny fry. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). There was an error in this gadget. Hollie's Weight Loss Blog.

From Couch Potato to Half Marathon Competitor: RICE RICE Baby
http://halfmarathonordie.blogspot.com/2013/09/rice-rice-baby.html
From Couch Potato to Half Marathon Competitor. Follow me as I journey from a sedentary lifestyle to an active runner. Thursday, September 26, 2013. This past Saturday, I participated in a 10k race. Due to an arthritis flareup in my feet, along with shoes that should have been retired, Monday and Tuesday were extremely painful. When topical ointments (bio freeze) and anti inflammatories (800mg of ibuprofen) only masked the pain, I realized I needed to approach this from a different angle. Finally, I will ...

From Couch Potato to Half Marathon Competitor. Follow me as I journey from a sedentary lifestyle to an active runner. Saturday, February 28, 2015. Princess Half Marathon Fail. I know that I shouldn't have tried to walk/run 13.1 miles while sick. But it was Disney so I had to try. I'm still resting a week later and suffering from a cough and laryngitis. The Tinkerbell half is in 10 weeks and I HAVE to finish this race, no excuses. I did have a nice vacation with my girls. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Unveiling the Secret Garden: April 2014
http://secretgarden-pinkvision.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Unveiling the Secret Garden. Saturday, 19 April 2014. Making pancakes and not eating them. This is a first for me, making food I like yet not eating it. Today I made pancakes for breakfast. Heresy! Later in the day I made a whole heap of buttermilk pancakes for my mum. She's the only person who will be eating them. I had a sniff at the finidhed product, and they are lovely, fat and squishy. She's having some for breakfast tomorrow before going to church. Tuesday, 8 April 2014. My body is feeling much bet...

Monday, June 2, 2014. Hard to believe another month has gone by already! It was a month full of milestones! I just had my 16 month follow up with my surgeon and he's obviously very proud. Monday, November 3, 2014. Monday Mix Tape - Catching up! Is anyone out there? I'm a terrible blogger and the longer I go without writing the harder it is to face it but it's REALLY good for me and I'm going to keep trying! Life is awesome and even though I've been at my goal weight for almost a year, it still doesn't seem real at times. I never thought I'd love clothes so much and don't even get me started on the boots. I'm the proud owner of my 2nd pair of Frye's now thanks to my sweet husband :). I got...

http://fatgirldivesin.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 25, 2013. I can't believe it's Thanksgiving week already! I think it's my favorite of all the holidays and it used to revolve completely around food, this year it's all revolving around my half marathon. Times have completely changed. The forecast for the start of my race on Thursday is 24 degrees and sunny. I tested out my cold weather gear on Sunday and was pretty comfortable. The waiting around to start will be the hardest part. Weigh in update - nothing much to see here this week!

http://fatgirldivesin.blogspot.com/2011/11/thankful-and-inspired.html
Friday, November 25, 2011. Thanksgiving was perfection (as I knew it would be). I spent it surrounded by friends and neighbors and never left my street. We had appetizers at one house, dinner at another, and dessert at ours around the campfire. I'm still smiling today and so thankful for my awesome life. Okay enough computer time. Time to get movin'! November 26, 2011 at 8:35 AM. I look forward to watching your progress on the C25K, and reading about your first race! November 26, 2011 at 3:58 PM. Two thi...
