Saturday, June 18, 2011. Long time no post. After the opperation she was told that she wouldn't need any chemo but when she went to see the oncologist she was told that she would need chemo asap as the cancer was invasive. Ahhhhh! Makes you wonder if some of these doctors can read! Mum started chemo the following week. She had to have 4 treatments every 21 days. My Mum and I - Christmas holidays 2010. Saturday, August 20, 2011. Following the cyclone, we had what seemed liked endless rain so everyone was feeling pretty down by the whole event and I guess reality was starting to kick in. However, on the day of William's visit, the sun was shining brightly. I love this photo which captures everyone's thoughts taken from a news website of Jane, who was one of my Kindy kids last year. Here's Jane shaking Prince William's hand. Lucky girl! You can just see William talking to the crowd. Let the children play.

Monday, December 31, 2012. Let the family fun begin! This year Mum, Dad and I decided that since my Grandma is 89 it would probably be a good idea to spend Christmas in the north with the Chew family. I can't even remember when the last time was that we spent Christmas with them all so I'm guessing it's been quite a while. My parents arrived the day after I finished work to help me pack up all my belongings (which there are a lot of! We had been walking around for a while and I thought she'd maybe had en...

Sunday, September 14, 2014. This was sent to me on Facebook but thought I'd blog about it instead. :) Even though I'm still a reader now, I'm not the "bookworm" I was when I was younger, therefore the majority of my memorable books are from my youth. I think those books really sparked my imagination and they definitely have stayed with me. List 10 books that have stayed with you some way. Don't take more than a few minutes and don't think too hard! 1 The BFG - Roald Dahl. 3 The Witches - Roald Dahl.

Random Thoughts: A nice surprise
http://jodychew.blogspot.com/2014/09/a-nice-surprise.html
Friday, September 12, 2014. I was pleasantly surprised today when I had my tax return done to find that I have at last paid off my Uni debt. YAY! I probably wouldn't have even worried if I hadn't received a return as I was so excited to read I had zero owing, ($0! Although I was pretty excited to see that I'll be getting a decent tax return as well. :). While this probably doesn't seem like a very exciting post, it was REALLY exciting for me and I feel so proud that I did it all by myself. YAY!
