Saturday, January 30, 2010. Warming Up to Us. It is cool to watch Tryana and Kalysta learn as they warm up to us. They are learning our names. We were going to teach them how to count and were surprised to see that they can count to 10, say their ABCs, and sing "Jesus Loves Me" all in English! K is so sweet! Today, she said "Nda gukunda" (Kinyarwanda for "I Love You") to T. Her laugh is also cute. They are both laughing and talking more and more. Friday, January 29, 2010. Thursday and Other Thoughts.

Saturday, March 27, 2010. Picture Worth a Thousand Laughs. This is a picture that is in a book that Tryana and Kalysta look at to become familiar with relatives. Almost from the first time they saw it, they would point and yell, "Ee! And run away. Take a look at my floating arm! We have had some good laughs with this one. Monday, March 15, 2010. Saturday, June 12, 2010. We left yesterday on our annual drive to Door County. We are very happy to report that all of the girls are great travelers! So we are hoping for an equally great night tonight. It rained most of today, but it's always so beautiful driving across Utah and Colorado. Two days down, two days to go.
