Tuesday, January 31, 2012. Last day of Janurary! It sure doesn't feel like it. There's been hardly any snow here this year, and you don't have to bundle up just to go outside to take out the garbage. The kids just started third quarter in school, before I know it school will be out. Guess what time it is? LOL For us at least, it's a happy time. Sunday, April 15, 2012. Growing up I spent a lot of time with my cousin Ricki. If she wasn't at my house all weekend, I was at hers. We knew everything about each other and could always count on each other. We were goofy and always had fun. When I think of Ricki, I smile. It makes me feel so good to see our kids now hanging out together. Sometimes they say or do something and it reminds me so much of us at that age. Everything makes them laugh. Links to this post. Wednesday, April 4, 2012. Today my daughter is 11! We went to a Mexican restaurant today for lunch and she had to wear a giant sombrero while we all sang happy birthday to her. It is weird to think of her as 11. Soon she'll be a teenager and it feels like its happening in a matter of minutes instead of years. When she was little I used to say, who are you? Monday, April 9, 2012. We spent Easter at my parents house yesterday and the kids had so much fun! I brought my potato salad and Shelby made the green salad to join the hot dogs and hamburgers my parents had. The kids got to cook their own hot dogs over a fire, we had an egg hunt, and we got to visit with my grandma. Thursday, May 26, 2011. Am I the only one who has a problem naming babies because everytime I think of one I like I am reminded of a felon with the same name? Or it rhymns with something weird?
