Friday, March 7, 2008. Doilies aren't just for grandmas part II. I found this adorable wool skirt while thrifting. i've been sitting on it for a while. i finally got inspired after seeing these pins. To sew a doily with a deer applique on it. i LOVE the way it turned out. i love brown and blue together anyway, so this was a perfect combination i think. i wish it wasn't a tad small. yes, i would keep it! Tuesday, 9 August 2011. I'm in love.it is official.with my lovely deer and fawn head vase.it brightens up my days and makes me smile.it's soooooo shiny ( my girls do sometimes worry about me! With matilda to care for we haven't had too much time for vintage and thrifty shopping.but with the few times i've ventured out i haven't been dissappointed, my beloved vase was an ebay buy.when you can't get out and shop ebay is the way to go! This girl got married last Saturday, and while I was wading through an ocean of balloons and birthday cake watching my son turn 6, images of blonde hair bled into his smile in a blur of daisyvision. Sunday, April 27, 2008. I'd like to take a few minutes to brag about my sister right now. Her name is Kelly, and she could sew circles around even the fastest knitting little old lady in the West! I remember when we were little, she was about 5 years old and creating clothes for our dollies and family dog using safety pins and fabric scraps. I love tupperware.i guess it is being a kid of the 70's .and all those tupperware parties my mum took me to.the highlight of the evening for kids was playing with them and making them burp!
