A blog about dolls, because why the heck not. Friday, January 30, 2015. Fleur de Minuit Deja Vu. Yup Another Deja Vu. This is 2014's "Fleur de Minuit" Deja Vu by the Tonner Doll Company, and she's so perfect I can't bring myself to take down her hair or undress her. Just wanted to show off a few pictures. The hair is an elaborate 'do with braided buns in the back and long sausage-curl tendrils. I'll end with a direct face comparison. Click on the pictures to see them larger. A blog about dolls, because why the heck not. Saturday, March 28, 2015. These are two custom, OOAK Patsy dolls I did this week when I was in a creative mood. I gave them both glass eyes and new hair. When I was in the middle of creating one of them, my husband walked into the room just in time to witness me digging into a bald doll scalp with my exacto knife. Didn't phase him at all. LOL! And kept on cutting. He walked out without saying a word. I absolutely love the newer, super-articulated Patsy bodies!
