A Journal For JM. Entries by tag: children. Where does the time go? January 8th, 2010. Many times you'll hear someone say, Enjoy it while it lasts. They grow fast. You don't realize how fast until they're yours, and you're loving every minute with them. Almost 5 years ago I gave birth to my beautiful baby boy! Phoenix is my pride and joy. If I've done anything right in this world, it was him! I would obviously lay my life down for his. But he grew up way too fast! I am so proud of the boy he's become!

There are a lot of things no one tells you about a child.Labor, birth, nursing, etc. etc. There was quite a few things I had to learn on my own. Normally its all so fiddly and "ahhh no I got it on the side of my fingers" but the wider brush really helps with that. On and done! It's 2 for £5 in superdrug too, which rocks! Tuesday, 23 March 2010. About the country I live in. There may not be a stable political scene (at least not stable to us), and we may be just out of the official grips of recession. But this I can all swallow. To think of the women in prison in Afghanistan for "crimes against morality" (daring to leave their husbands home without his permission), the women who are married off at 12 and abused to the point that they set themselves on fire in desperation, and who risk their lives to go to school.
