There are discounts on training fees for families with more than two members training on the same day/evening. Of course, we would never expect a new student to commit to training with us until he or she had come along and had a go first. This is why the first lesson is always free. Where and when we train. Our style of Karate. FAQ and useful info. About Karate and our style, Wado-Ryu. Karate is a martial art consisting of punches, kicks, blocks and a small number of throws. It is practiced barefoot, wearing a white suit (gi), with a belt around the waist, denoting the skill level that the student has attained. There are several styles of karate, each with slightly different interpretation of kata and basic form. The biggest schools are Wado-Ryu , Shotokan, Goju ryu and Shito ryu.

Paul Frost and Gary Holland sucessfully passed their 1st Dan Black Belt exam in a gruelling 2 hour grading on 4th May, after 4 months of intense training to acheive the high standard set by the BKA. Five member panelists put Paul and Gary through their paces in all aspects of their Karate. Congratulations Paul and Gary from all at the club! Your first free lesson.
