Life...in Progress: August 2012

But tomorrow, our hearts will be heavy as we celebrate Jack's 2nd birthday without him. How would his little voice sound? What would make him laugh and smile? And the cake will lead to more r...

If you do a quick Google search of the term "foodie," you will immediately be greeted by these definitions:. A person with a particular interest in food; a gourmet ( Google.com. (GF)2: The Everyday Celiac: grocery shopping
http://theeverydayceliac.blogspot.com/p/name-brand-products.html
Not sure where to go shopping? The most important thing is to get familiar with the stores in your area, and visit multiple locations. Also, bear in mind that many grocery stores started out as small, family businesses, so they tend to be fairly local. You may have options available in your area that I've never heard of, and vice versa. That said, here are some of my favorite grocery stores for gluten-free items here in Phoenix, AZ. Sprouts (wide variety of specialty items). And a friendly tip: do them i...

Project Shannon: About Me
http://projectshannon.blogspot.com/p/about-me.html
My name is Shannon and welcome to my blog. "Project Shannon" started when I was in high school; an informal challenge to myself to always keep striving - whether physically, emotionally, or intellectually. My goals then were simple: get into a good college, look good in a bikini, and have fun with friends. But as college and life set-in,. Fell by the wayside. Q: Why do you refer to your husband only as "Hubby"? Q: Why do you decorate in a seaside theme, do you live near the ocean? But one of the main rea...

Contemplations over Coffee.: May 2008
http://ourlittleoneontheway.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
A little this.a little that. and a lot of our little girls. Monday, May 12, 2008. Post date: April 28, catching up on the last 2 weeks. After a pregnancy test, then a trip to Target to buy 2 more just to be sure, it's official I'm pregnant. We haven't told anyone yet and it's nearly impossible keeping this secret in, but we just aren't sure when to start telling people yet. We've never done this before! So I am going to start blogging about the pregnancy. Fear, life, and midwives. Norah at 32 months.

Patience and Perspective: July 2015
http://ourprettylittlefamily.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 16, 2015. We are halfway through our summer and I feel like we've been staying pretty busy. Between play dates with friends, going to the splash pad, the pool, and the playground, I can confidently say I've succeeded in wearing the kids out *almost* every day. We actually stayed for 3 hours and even ordered a pizza! She was shy the first day and I thought we would have a problem when I left, but they said after a while she settled in and started to participate and had fun. We go on vacatio...
