Domestic Doin's: Blueberry Banana Bread
http://domesticdoins.blogspot.com/2011/08/blueberry-banana-bread.html
Life through the eyes of a happy homemaker. Monday, August 15, 2011. Last month, I hosted a Pampered Chef party at my house. We had alot of fun, with good friends and good food! The consultant made a really yummy mango salsa to start with, and then she showed us how to dress up chicken breasts with Pampered Chef spices. I made this delicious Blueberry Banana Bread (in my Pampered Chef stoneware loaf pan), and my Roasted Beet and Pear Salad. Here's a picture of all the stuff I got. So thanks again! Subscr...

http://domesticdoins.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Life through the eyes of a happy homemaker. Wednesday, November 24, 2010. Here is the recipe I promised y'all! Sorry it took me so long to get it posted.there is a reason for that. Sweet potatoes are on sale for 16¢ a pound so I stocked up and bought over 20 pounds. I figured I would cook them and then freeze them so we could enjoy them for a while! SoI had to scrub out my oven before I could bake my carrot soufflé! 1 16 ounce package baby carrots. 1/2 cup sour cream. 1/4 cup butter, softened. Boil carr...

Greek Tofu (or chicken) Spaghetti. Moroccan Sweet Potato Pitas. Old Fashioned Molasses Taffy. Roasted Beet and Pear Salad. Sweet and Sour Meatballs.
Domestic Doin's: December 2010
http://domesticdoins.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Life through the eyes of a happy homemaker. Thursday, December 30, 2010. A few years ago, a friend and I were traveling, and we spent a night in Shreveport, Louisiana. We stayed with some very hospitable folks, and they served us some of the most delicious food I had ever eaten. Gumbo and rice for supper, biscuits and jam and spicy sausages for breakfast. It does take a little more time than a lot of recipes (2 1/2 to 3 hours), but it is well worth it! 1 pound smoked sausage, cut into bite size pieces.

What's going on in our lives and pictures too! Wednesday, February 27, 2008. Potato and Leek Soup. I have been wanting to make potato and leek soup for a long time, it just sounds like a great soup to have on a cold winter night. So I got all the ingredients when I did my grocery shopping and finally got around to make it on Monday night for supper and it turned out great! Here are the pictures of it; I have now posted the recipe. 3 leeks, chopped. 1 1/2 cups of carrots, diced. 1 1/2 cups of celery, diced.

What's going on in our lives and pictures too! Saturday, September 20, 2008. We had Aaron, Jami and Chloe over yesterday for supper and a game. To keep Chloe entertained I brought up a bunch of toys from downstairs and happened to grab some juggling dinosaurs as well. After our game Nate decided to juggle a bit which was quite amusing to Chloe and she decided to give it a try herself. Very cute. Chloe held a toy in each hand and swung her arms up and down, rubbing the two toys together. 4 tsp baking soda.
Miller's Memos: Trip to Phoenix - The Laydens

What's going on in our lives and pictures too! Tuesday, January 3, 2012. Trip to Phoenix - The Laydens. The second part of our trip we spent with the Laydens, it was great to see them again! We went out to the White Tank mountains to go on hike. Nate and the kids in back. The trail was smooth enough to take the stroller, Aurelia was napping the first part. It is nice having other people who want to push the stroller. Saguaro, I also got a hawk or some kid of bird flying above! A waterfall in the dessert!

What's going on in our lives and pictures too! Tuesday, January 3, 2012. Trip to Phoenix - Kent and Cindy. We stayed one night with Nate's Aunt Cindy and Uncle Kent. Aurelia loved all the puppies that were there (I didn't get any pictures). We also went out to an olive mill, it was very interesting, I know a lot more about olive oil now! What's going on in our lives and pictures too! Friday, April 25, 2008. The plumber told Nate what kind of faucet we needed and I went to Home Depot and bought a cheap one, since we eventually want to redo the bathroom anyway. While I was there I saw a really cool sink faucet, ours is old and nasty, so I figured the plumber could put it in while he was there anyways. Now we are plumbers, as long as we work as a team! Old, leaky faucet. New, cheap, not leaky faucet. New, shiny and pretty! If you want to go...

What's going on in our lives and pictures too! Wednesday, June 13, 2012. Aurelia's 2-Year Photo Shoot. Aurelia LOVES to swing at the park, here with Chloe and Brianna. With Grandma and Grandpa at the parade. 21 Gun Salute - LOUD when you are standing so close! Yummy fruit pizza for dessert on Memorial Day. Goofy kids at the zoo! I am: hap...

What's going on in our lives and pictures too! Tuesday, August 28, 2007. Well, I started school yesterday. It will be two years now till I am finished, I will graduate the spring of 2009. I guess it is not that long, but from where I sit, looking at the huge stack of text books and thinking of all the class time, clinical hours and studying time, it seems like it will take forever. I actually finished a knitting project, I didn't stick to the pattern exactly, I still think. It turned out ok. The two of u...
