They had to paint walls (in some areas, put wood paneling on the walls because it was the 70s) and install carpeting. And because genetics are awesome, I passed my colorblindness on to both of my sons. I knew this early on because extensive eye exams are performed at school now, so I got the panic letter sent home when Ryan...

Crafty chums are the bestest and I'm truly blessed to have this bunch of people in my life! Because I'm using the blogger app, I can't get pictures into the body of this post so instead I'll do a list of all the fab goodies with pics at the bottom.

Sunday, 15 January 2012. The intention was that Hannah would go back to uni on the train after the Christmas. Break but after packing everything she brought home, her Christmas presents and a few. Things I want to make. Monday, 14 April 2014. A Quilt Along and a Finish Along? Following on from my last post about doing different/new things this year I have taken the plunge and decided to join in with the latest round of Old Red Barn Co Quilt Along. Sunshine & Cheesebugs: Mojo Rising
http://sunshineandcheesebugs.blogspot.com/2015/03/mojo-rising.html
Things I want to make. Tuesday, 31 March 2015. No, I haven't suddenly turned into Jim Morrison (although I'm now going to have that running round my head for the rest of the night! But it beats Kenny Rodgers' The Gambler which I've been humming all day! But I'm been making stuff. I know! Then I bought the book in this picture Lynne Goldsworthy and Kerry Green's 500 Quilt Blocks. I'm also doing some quilt maths in this photo). http://sunshineandcheesebugs.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Things I want to make. Monday, 27 October 2014. Purely in the Interest. Of science I ate some cake. The other week the lovely Susan at Canadian Abroad blogged about an awesome cake. Now I'm no Mary Berry but I like to think I can pull off a decent cake when I try and I like to try different things. I have never baked a cinnamon roll cake before so throwing. So a little weighing, measuring and mixing (by hand! I never mix by hand but couldn't be bothered plugging in my hand mixer) I ended up with this.

Sunshine & Cheesebugs: Isn't she a beauty?
http://sunshineandcheesebugs.blogspot.com/2015/04/isnt-she-beauty.html
Things I want to make. Thursday, 30 April 2015. Isn't she a beauty? This is my mum's old manual typewriter. It's lived in my loft for years. The husband *briefly* asked if we needed to keep it when we moved last year and was *briefly* met with THE LOOK! You can, for less than a tenner too! The Imperial company used to produce these typewriters in Leceister but the factory was closed in 1974. (The year I was born! I remember playing with it when I was younger and typing out nonsense just to see, and hear,...
