I've been thinking about the line in The Sound of Music. Where God closes a door, he opens a window. I tend to think that windows need a little help sometimes. I lean toward the school of thought that says trials are opportunities for growth and learning. The job's not going to land in our laps and neither will God withold a blessing till we've learned our lesson. What lesson have I learned, or am I supposed to learn from my bread-winning-man's unemployment? 3 get our of debt any way possible.

Ben is sitting next to me in church, wiggling. So - I pinch his bum. He turns to me, "mom! Don't pinch my bum! So - I pinch a bunch, and he giggles, alot. This being church, Hyrum gives me the eye, like I'm one of the naughty children. Ben turns to me again and tells me he's going to pinch me, he tries, but my skirt is too slippery for him. I love Wednesdays. It is the best night to make dinner, because I know what I'm making. Also, I get to use the absolutely delicious, authentic, made with love sauce that Hyrum's mom makes. I've conned her into making bucket size pans of it so I can freeze it. I would keep a whole freezer of this sauce. we keep telling her she's going to have to sell it someday.
