Need to get my butt back in gear, pronto! The end of my life as I know it . . . almost. Deep down, I actually am a little excited about the medical school thing. After playing wannabe doctor for most of my life I will finally start training to be one. It's just that everything has become a lower priority to my new role of Mommy.

I think I just hate the harmony or something. It's almost painful to listen to. On the other hand, I think this JG Wentworth commercial. Is a riot. You true opera fans are probably like "get a life" but this one sure beats that stupid Optimum triple play commercial. Another one I like is the 50 cent Vitamin Water commercial.

Friday, September 10, 2010. Back on the wagon. In the past week, I've practiced three, count 'em, three times. To me, this is a huge accomplishment. In college, I really wouldn't be bragging about three times.I may even have been reprimanded in my lesson! Rehearsals for Orchestra Iowa start up again on Monday, and tonight, after three sessions back on English horn, I finally left not feeling like my face was going to fall off. Now, can I make it through the Planets? Two more days to get my chops up.

Had intended to sit through a listening of a Wagner opera last week, but apparently, I was too distracted by tango to sit quietly in my room for just that couple of hours.
