June 6, 2010 at 7:16 pm ( Uncategorized. This week’s challenge for the Poetry Bus. Daisies, only yesterday scattered across. The lush expanse of un-mowed lawn. All chopped, chopped, are all chopped. Their petals heaped amongst the verdant mulch. Not spared, not one. For small girl to frolic in fancy and. Festoon herself a fairy queen. O if he but knew what he did. When he mowed and trimmed. Cut down those fragile blossoms. The dreams of childhood. So transient, in wild abandon. That might have been.

Delusions of Adequacy: December 2013

Tuesday, 24 December 2013. A little seasonal fun. Feel free to make up your own tune or extra words. Some, they have a talent, a real artistic flair,. To make their gifts look lovely, so clearly wrapped with care. Adorned with bows and ribbons, with bits of tinsel in. Now gaze upon my own poor gift, like something from a bin. Oh, why can't all my Christmas gifts be oblong? Oh why can not the gifts I give be square? Now I bet you think that this is quite an odd song. Wishing for a world's that's parallel.

Erratic Thoughts: March 2011

Some stray strands of twisted brain waves. Wednesday, March 16, 2011. Running temperature and mind! The other day, I was taking a walk, now I don't know why I was walking in the middle of an afternoon with the sun sparing not even a slightest thought to me.but after walking some I was thirsty, sweaty and tired. You get the picture, right? A normal person should think that somebody might have just left this very spot, doing just exactly what I was doing. Why wasn’t I feeling those sunburns if I was l...

Some stray strands of twisted brain waves. Monday, July 26, 2010. Some comical moments- for a ticket to poetry bus. Niamh B is the poetry bus driver this week. She tells us to write something on confusion see. Ohh she has written one beautiful poem herself. This is my entry for buying a ticket. This has really happened, so it's no invention. As I think about it now, I can't stop laughing. Good god! For the life of me, when you are sleepy, go and sleep instead of doing such antic things at night. Colors go...

Erratic Thoughts: The Snake Charmer
http://myintuitivemind.blogspot.com/2011/09/snake-charmer.html
Some stray strands of twisted brain waves. Monday, September 19, 2011. The Snake Charmer, Henri Rousseau, 1907. Among the jasmine blooms. Where woods are deep. My flute calls for surrender. To my four snakes. Hope, love, joy and prosper. From the green lake. They come to me, helpless. At the lure of my tunes. But I have no venom. I’m a silky maiden. Merely playing my pipe. On a cold night. When the moon whispers. Fiery lust in the bushes. So I play my flute. To swathe my naked desire. You seem to have ev...

Erratic Thoughts: June 2010

Some stray strands of twisted brain waves. Monday, June 28, 2010. They were walking hand in hand on a sea shore. It was a nice, quiet and clear night. Cool breeze was blowing around them. They were enjoying the roaring sea to the fullest. It was a very unusual couple, the man being much too older than the girl. But the love between them was evident from the way they were looking at each other. They were so much into each other that it was difficult to identify where one started and the other ended. He re...

In a Dark Time … The Eye Begins to See. Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. Category Archives: Favorite Songs. For What It’s Worth. March 16, 2011. Though posting has been a little irregular here, I haven't just been playing my new computer game. In fact, I might have been reading and thinking even more than normal, thanks, in part, to a long period of rain. Although the accompanying video isn't particularly relevant at the moment, unless you, like I, consider the money fighting these end...

Monday, 13 August 2012. Why You Should Clean Your Keyboard More Often Than You Do. Keybaords are seriously disgusting. I cleaned mine a short while ago and was horrified at the astonishing diversity and sheer volume of crud that came out of it. I'm sure I never ate THAT much crumbly cake while sitting at the computer. Anyway, here's a cartoon about it. Tip: kids' paintbrushes are excellent for the purpose. Links to this post.
